K2 Buddy – BaseBox Set – The K2 Buddy BaseBox Set consists of a DIN rail enclosure with integrated circuit board and a DIN rail power supply. It is mounted weather-protected in the building’s connection room. The BaseBox regularly monitors (every 10 minutes) the measurement data from the roof-mounted TopBox and transmits it via the home internet connection to the cloud. It also monitors the power supply of the TopBox and switches it off in case of a fault to ensure smooth operation. For installing the K2 Buddy in combination with the Dome 6 system, the following additional sets are required: 1000003 K2 Buddy – TopBox Set Snow, 2003448 K2 Buddy – Dome Profile Set, 2003603 K2 Buddy – Dome Accessories Set.
