The SMA Home Storage 9.8 set offers a generous energy reserve of almost 10 kWh capacity for single-family homes. It consists of three stacked battery modules and is the ideal choice for households with higher night-time consumption or to support heat pumps and electric vehicles. Due to the higher system voltage in this configuration, a particularly high efficiency during charging and discharging is achieved. The simple scalability also makes it possible to add further modules to the system at a later date if required, in order to further increase energy independence.
