SMA Solar Technology AG, based in Niestetal near Kassel, is one of the world's most experienced and respected manufacturers of photovoltaic inverters. Since its founding in 1981 the German company has decisively shaped the development of solar technology and is today the global market leader in system technology. With over 3,500 employees and a strong presence in 20 countries, SMA stands for technological excellence, the highest quality standards and future-proof energy management solutions.

The Sunny Tripower series from SMA is the three-phase inverter line for medium and large photovoltaic systems in residential and commercial use. With several independent MPP trackers and a broad input voltage range it offers maximum flexibility across differing roof geometries. The integrated SMA ShadeFix secures optimal yields even under partial shading.

The SMA Sunny Tripower X20 (STP20-50) is a powerful inverter that stands out above all for its 3 independent MPP trackers. The wide input voltage range allows great flexibility in choosing modules. Thanks to the fan-free cooling concept the unit runs whisper-quiet, and the intuitive web interface makes commissioning quick.
